Dr. Hope was very helpful and courteous, but his assistant not so much. And why is it so hard to get imaging and radiology reports? In 2024, still faxing reports and having patients carry in CDs of MRI images. This organization needs to API interfaces to integrate systems for more efficient patient care.

I have had both my hip and shoulder replacement surgeries done by Dr. Simon and Dr. Brown. I have been to other orthopedic surgeons but I have to say that they are the best that I’ve ever been to. My scar is minimal pain is minimal they took care of me and followed up with me, with physical therapy and anything I needed. They are the best and I highly recommend Dr. Simon and Dr. Brown.

While the front office staff was very friendly and accommodating, I wasn’t impressed with Dr. Fox. Not much of a bedside manner and I felt, a bit condescending. Diagnosis was a tear in meniscus and arthritis in the knee. After looking over X-rays, which he did go over with me, and then an exam of my knee, treatment was a shot in the knee, (the PA that gave the shot was skillful and kind), however, when I asked Dr. Fox if the relief would be immediate or would take awhile (as I was in a lot of pain), his response was “well who said that the shot is even going to work? We’ll just have to see”. I pretty much shut down after that comment, which then made him comment that I was “a woman of few words”. I did get a call later from a staff member to set up appointments for physical therapy, but I won’t be utilizing their services.

After a horrific sport injury, we couldn't have asked for better treatment than what we got at NE Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. My 17yr old daughter needed surgery after a spiral fracture from playing softball the last week of October. After an ER visit, they were the first specialist in all of San Antonio able to see her. We went in on a Wednesday, and she had her surgery on Thursday, the following day. She needed a plate and 11 screws. The surgery was quick and her recovery was fast. By Thanksgiving she was driving again! She'll be able to return to playing softball for her high school after Christmas break. We could not have been more pleased with the treatment our daughter received. The doctors, PA, and staff are all so amazing.

Doctors seem great, support staff overwhelmed by volume of patients. First question when your name doesn’t appear on appointment list is if you’re there for a surgery prep visit or just a routine visit. It seems to take 2 visits to get one exam and a lengthy wait each and every time!
